whether的用法：

　　1、whether可以表示“是否”，引導賓語從句。

　　You may wonder whether it is true.

　　你可能想知道它是否是真的。

　　2、當引導的從句中出現(xiàn)or not時，通常用whether。

　　I'm wondering whether you will come to my party or not tomorrow.

　　我想知道你明天是否來參加我的聚會。

　　3、to+動詞的結構（即動詞不定式）前只能用whether。

　　Have you decided whether to accept the offer yet?

　　你決定好是否接受那個報價了嗎？

　　4、介詞prep.后只能用whether。

　　We're discussing the problem of whether to accept the offer.

　　我們正在討論關于是否接受報價的問題。

　　5、當賓語從句提到句首表示強調時，只能用whether引導。

　　Whether they can finish the work on time is still a problem.

　　他們是否能按時完成他們的工作還是個問題。

　　6、只能用whether引導主語、表語或同位語從句。
